$100 million. That's how much Anthropic is putting behind a new program to get consulting firms and systems integrators selling Claude into large enterprises.
The Claude Partner Network, announced today, is Anthropic's formal channel play. The company is backing management consultancies, professional services firms, and specialist AI shops with training, co-marketing dollars, dedicated engineers, and sales support. Any organization bringing Claude to market can join for free.
The big names are already in. Accenture says it's training 30,000 professionals on Claude. Cognizant is rolling it out to 350,000 associates. Deloitte and Infosys both have dedicated Claude practices stood up. These aren't pilot programs - they're the kind of commitments that signal where enterprise AI budgets are flowing.
What Partners Actually Get
The practical incentives go beyond a logo on a partner page:
- Certified training programs (Claude Certified Architect and Foundations are live now, with more coming)
- Dedicated Applied AI engineers assigned to customer deals
- Market development funding and co-marketing for joint campaigns
- A Partner Portal with sales playbooks and technical resources
- Listing in a Services Partner Directory that enterprise buyers can search
Anthropic also says it's expanded its partner-facing team fivefold, which suggests this has been in the works for a while.
The Enterprise Distribution Game
This is Anthropic playing the same enterprise distribution game that Microsoft perfected with Azure and that Salesforce built its empire on. The best AI model in the world doesn't matter if nobody in a Fortune 500 company knows how to deploy it. Consulting partners solve that problem - they're the ones in the room when a bank or insurance company decides which AI vendor to standardize on.
The $100M figure is significant but not unusual for this kind of program. Anthropic says it expects to invest more in subsequent years, which reads as a multi-year commitment rather than a one-time splash. With Claude now available across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft platforms, the partner network covers all three major clouds where enterprise deals actually happen.
