GitAgent Registry Launches as a Hub for Sharing Claude Code Agents

Claude Code users now have a place to share their custom agents. GitAgent.sh launched as an open registry where developers can publish, discover, and install pre-built Claude Code agents complete with skills and configurations.

The idea borrows from package registries like npm or PyPI, but for AI coding agents instead of libraries. Rather than each team building their Claude Code setup from scratch, the registry lets you browse agents others have built and pull them into your own workflow. Think of it as a community marketplace for the prompts, skills, and tool configurations that make Claude Code useful for specific tasks.

This fills a real gap. Claude Code's agent capabilities have grown significantly, but sharing configurations between projects or teams has been a manual copy-paste affair. A centralized registry with discoverability makes it more practical to build on each other's work rather than starting from zero every time.

The registry is still early, and the catalog is thin. But the concept is sound - the value of AI coding agents multiplies when the best configurations can spread across the community rather than staying locked in individual setups.
